We're about to take delivery of a new HE and after a few weeks on here I dying for a few needed upgrades. Already having the dealer upgrade the tires to 285/65/18 Toyo OC AT3s, and add a remote start/lock/GPS from DroneMobile. Looking for a reseller/installer in the greater Baltimore or DC area who can assist me with adding a more functional roof rack (likely Prinsu), some sliders (BudBuilt, Slee or WhiteKnuckle) and maybe some ARB drawers and a slider for my new Dometic CFX3 75. Anyone use anyone in this are you would recommend?

You might try reaching out to @PhuckItImDone. He’s just had a bit of work done along those lines.

Backwoods Overland is in the Frederick area, and has done some builds on 200s

I've bought some kit from them and have seen the 200 rig they built at the Mainline Overland Ferstival- they seem like good dudes.

If you want a totally solid shop that does everything - then Mainline Overland up in West Chester, PA is a good choice too... not too far.

yeah I found Backwoods Overland listed on the ARB site and reached out to the owner via email already to see if they do installs on some of the stuff they sell.

Hey, hope everyone is good. @1carnut I'm running the White Knuckle sliders, the BudBuilt skids, Gobi ladder, with more already on the way. The sliders i had thrown on by a shop over in Rockville, nothing crazy. Everything else I've handed over to @OTRAMM and have been stoked with. I'm in Frederick and its a little over an hour from me, South in VA, but they are solid and I trust them with the truck. I already have more things coming.

If it was me, I'd call Budbuilt and plan a road trip to North Carolina and get them to do the full meal deal (sliders, skids, shock protection).

Thanks for the info and good to meet someone else local. I had the White Knuckle sliders on my 4th Gen 4runner and really liked them but didn't really want to wait to 6-8 weeks to get some built and shipped to me if folks have the Slee and BudBuilt that also look like solid solutions in stock. I installed the the White Knuckles with a buddies help but think i might outsource the whole job to someone this time around. I'll definitely check out @OTRAMM as well for some future work.

Interesting idea as the new LE will need a road trip for sure!

If your on the Facebook, there's a group called Old Bay Tacos, puts together some trail runs and whatnot, when your looking to get some dirt on it. I kinda went the other way, getting the white knuckles because they were available first. I've had no complaints with em.

Thanks will look into the Old Bay Tacos. Seems in greater DC there are way more Jeep focused shops and clubs! I'll reach out to White Knuckle and see what their availability looks like. Did you get the full or partial step with the diamond plate? Is any cutting of the side skirts required on the newer LC with the White Knuckle options?

No cutting of the skirt or anything which was awesome. I got the partial plate, just for the kids to climb in and out. From my understanding, and looking it at, it's removable. I'll take some pics next time I walk outside. The OBT page is pretty resourceful, lot of toyota help.

There's also a DC area LC club, Capital Land Cruiser Club. I had OTRAMM do suspension work for me and put the sliders and skids on myself. Definitely won't go wrong with OTRAMM.
Also White Knuckle sliders require you to drill a few holes in your frame. I drilled about 12 or 14 in total if memory serves correctly. BudBuilt doesn't require any drilling into the frame, also if you get their gastank skid you won't have to get it notched the way Phuckit and I had to do to work with the White Knuckle sliders.

i’m going to have to try calling BudBuilt as their website is showing an estimate of 10 weeks for powder coated sliders. Not sure I want to wait that long....

Doesn't hurt to call. I know when I called White Knuckle they managed to get my sliders in 3weeks for a trip I had planned. Depends on the style you want as well.
You've got SLEE, BudBuilt, White Knuckle, Trail Tailor (possibly?), and Metal Tech for slider options that are all Mud vendors that are worth supporting.

Just realize that a week to two weeks of that wait is the powder coat process.

The partial diamond plate, and the screws and whatnot to pull them off.
