Has anyone installed aftermarket a/c in a 70 series? It seems there is not much room in the passenger side for the blower etc.

Anyone have some pictures of their interior with aftwrmarket a/c?

Thanks

@joekatana posted something about this the other day...
Any interest in AC kits for lhd 7x models ?

Other than that... I have the OEM AC in the front and an aftermarket second unit roof mounted for the rear area... but i don't think that's what you're going for.

I did see joekatana's post, but $2500 for parts alone is a bit too much for me.

There are full kits for $500 on ebay and amazon.

Lol potatoes and potatos , you can install any Jeep or FJ40 or hotrod ac kit but it will look like crap and never blow out of the oem vents .

I searched a long time for these kits and it is the only way I would ever consider installing ac in a 70 , in the 20 years I am driving 70 series I haven’t seen a single decent alternative to it .

Sadly, I agree. I was hoping for a less expensive alternative.

While my wife does not like the idea of no a/c, she would not be happy with the a/c rubbing her knees either. I don't see the space to mount the under dash unit in the center.

I spent a bundle on parts and labor to get my favtory system working.
Money spent on lassting ac is money well spent.
