Advice on towing Please

Hello guys need some advice please

Right I want to tow And have been

I passed my trailer test

Will be for private use

But my trailer tow car and car im pulling is over 3500kg

Do i need a stupid tacho?

I believe he is referring to a Tachograph, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachograph

A location would be helpful, but I'm going to assume its outside the USA in which point I have no idea what the requirements are?

You don't need one for towing unless required by law. It might make it easier for you

It would help to post location - without that there is no way that anyone can advise on what is required for you.

I'll assume that you're in the UK because of the 3500kg limit.

So you've passed your B+E test allowing you to tow? That means you're fine up to 8500kg as long as the trailer is within range of what the car is rated to tow. I don't believe you need a tacho unless you're using an LGV and HGV.
