Hello, about to dive into a "baseline" on a '99 LX with 248K miles. Car was one owner, but has a somewhat sketch history. Anyhoo, have determined to start with ALL NEW OEM parts which include timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, fan clutch, all tensioners, bearings, crank seal, cam seals, thermostat w/gasket, radiator cap, steering rack, tie rod end, power steering reservoir, power steering hoses, PCV valve and every hose in the engine, (including heater T's), cv axles, brake rotors front/rear, pad front/rear, AND AND upper and lower control arm bushings. Am I insane to think I can just replace the control arm bushings ? Also, have not ordered new ball joints. Should I ? Also, what am I leaving off for the already ordered parts that I will need ?
TIA Seriously !
Oh, Also got a new set of YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR A/T4 SL's

If you're throwing parts and $$ at it, you failed to include the entire brake booster/motor/MC assembly!

Is anything wrong with it now preventing it from being a daily driver?
Yeah, the rack is shot, all hoses need replacing, and steering is super sloppy (loose). Hope new bushings and rack will help with that. Bought it from the original owner two years ago and it had just sat in my driveway. Recently decided to either sell or fix, so I decided to keep and just put in an order from Bell Lexus (should be here tomorrow). Posting here to see what everyone thinks.
