Hey Mud,

I recently replaced my thermostat/housing and at the same time had to bypass my heater tap as one of the pipes was so badly corroded (until I can source replacement pipes/hoses).

I’m having a very difficult time trying to burp the air out, not sure if anyone has any advice or tricks to getting the air out… ?

I wish this radiator had a cap.

Kind regards,
-R

On my 13BT I disconnect the top radiator hose and fill through that.
Actually, I have a stump of the old hose that I use just for filling the rad.
After putting top hose back on, I try to fill via the cap.
That gets me to the point where I am not afraid to start it and let it get up to temperature.
I then let it cool and pull liquid from the reserve bottle.
Then I check the level at the cap.
Takes some time.
