5700lbs loaded(not heavily, but loaded) for a camping trip. That's with no people in it. Also it had the rack on, but no front bumper whatsoever, oh and no seats either. I really don't know why my truck weighs so much, I carry probably 2-300lbs of tools/junk in the back, but that's offset by the fact that I don't have any seats installed. I don't get it

Seriously, did you try to weigh with another scale? Seems somewhat heavy.

Empty shipping weight, '90 HDJ81 with 35's, alloy bullbar and rack:
front 1300 kg (2866 lb)
rear 1040 kg (2293 lb)
total 2340 kg (5159 lb)

I guess that adding my butt and full tank of diesel would put it over 6000 lb.
