Bring spare 4 Runner tie rods and a CV from a 2003-2007 FJ...I may have to buy them :p

I am hoping the bumper is done by then! GX Phase III is starting next week!

Inners and outers? Or are you just going to bend the inner in the shape of a "Z" again?

Inners, I almost never see outers break. on IFS.

You want one of each or two of each?

(How much junk you plan on breakin??)

I need a few things too. Do you have room for a set of belts and an air filter for a 94 80?

Sent usin the "new" app.

Absolutely. I'm driving the Tundra and I'll be by myself. I will have camping gear and coolers and stuff but there is going to be plenty of room. In fact, when I went to GSMTR I loaded the Tundra AND the mini full of stuff.

one tie rod and a CV for spares is all I might need (assume you can bring and take back if I don't break and don't decide to buy?)

For you guys I will... random customer? Cash only up front!!! :hillbilly:

Edit: You need to remind me when it gets closer to time though. I can pretty much guarantee that I will forget.

When is everyone heading up? My son and I will be leaving Lilburn around 11-12 Friday, hopefully. I'd like to get up there in time to get set up and maybe explore a bit before sundown.

Attempting to get the wife to come with me and to camp for the first time :)

My wife LOVED it. She had never been camping either. She told me after that she had never slept that good in her whole life. (We just had an air matress and sleeping bags. Nothing too fancy.)

Yep, I will also have a propane heater since it will be chilly by then.

That is a good idea, I need to see about borrowing one of those myself now that you mention it.

Sam, I may get you to bring me some more parts for the 22RE when you come. I hope to at least get it on the stand by then but getting the 80 ready is going to be high on the list between now and then.

Sounds like I need to get a list started... :hmm:

 Do you have one of those " all around trail fix " kits for the FZJ you could throw in a duffle bag?

J/K...I am busting my butt getting my 80 up to snuff for the 600mi round trip and wheeling in between. It looks like it may just be me coming from Cincinnati.

You never know what will break. I'd have to bring a whole extra 80, which I don't think will fit in the duffel bag. Worse comes to worse we could probably scrounge up some parts to get you back on the road. Being such a long drive I'd try to keep it tame out on the trails. If you want to go somewhere a little more extreme there's usually some open seats you can hop in. You're more than welcome to ride with me, as long as you don't mind getting tossed around like a rag doll.

I was just kidding around Sam. I will be treading lightly. After seeing the pic of the new/newer Lexus wheeling last year with you guys I think my 80 can hang. Plus, it looks like from the crowd I will be with I am in capable hands knowledge and experience wise.

I appreciate the seat offer and might just take you up on it to see some of the more wild and wooly stuff. :steer:

Yeah I know you were kidding. Anyway, nothing too crazy happening in my truck since I still have baby tires and no suspension work, and I'm by no means an expert wheeler. It will be fun though. I like to try to drive up stuff. :D
