AC Blower Motor

Anyone have any tricks to get the blower motor cap back on? See attached. The springs seems to get in the way.

I'm thinking there should be brushes attached to the springs.

Yes- those two springs hold a brush on each end (typically lead). During manufacturing, they obviously had a jig to compress the springs while the armature was inserted. Now it's up to you to make one yourself (thin wall plastic tube of the right diameter?)

I believe those two loose pieces to the right of the spring are the brushes.

Typically you can use a small piece of wire to hold the spring compressed. Put the cap on and pull the wire out.

Yup and they look a little worn. Dont put them in backwards won't be good for the armature

@TimFJ62 did you ever source a new set of bushings and get your motor back together?
