ABS sensor help

Hey, folks— my knuckle fell apart and shredded my brakes and ABS sensor on drivers front wheel. Mechanic is saying he can only find “the whole kit” for like $1k. But he just needs the one sensor itself. Any ideas?

What year model is your L/C?

Did the harness get damaged or just the sensor?

Just the sensor, I believe. I can confirm this weekend. It's for a '97 front driver's side....

Hi flintknapper, I'm looking for a front driver's side ABS sensor, I think the left and right are both the same, for 1997 80 series LC. Do you have one for sale? If so, what does it look like the one of the left or right in the photo below?

Thanks Saito, I just have a damaged front sensor and possibly the harness. You could probably do better selling as a package, but you want to get rid of it and the price is right I would take it off your hands. Do your your front sensors look like the ones on the left of right in my previous post.

They are the same on both sides. I'll get you some pics of mine in the morning.

Mine passenger side is broken as well: the wire inside the tube broke off I believe. I'll need to address it this summer.

Not sure how "shredded" it is, but may be fixable with a solder iron.

Mine are OEM like the one on the right. Off my 1997 Land Cruiser.

Straight off the truck (so a little dirty, but working).
