Does your brake pedal feel good? Is there any alarm going off?. Who done the work?
Local garage carried out work, there are no other alarms going off. pedal feels fine no travel, just strange how abs light comes on after about 10 minutes. if you turn vehicle off the same again in 10 minutes comes on again ??

I'm listening guys...my brake pedals doesn't feel right and again after giving it a few pedal 8-12 pumps, the ABS/BRAKE lights up with the alarm THEN teh booster kicks in and everything will go to normal, brake pedal feels good.
Again, When I pump the brake pedal, the pressure goes down and there are bubbles from the brake fluid reservoir with engine running or not, I have a feeling a have to really give it another bleeding. Any Suggestions???

Go to the truck, ignition off, pump the pedal 40 times and look at the fluid level, it certainly looks low in the video.

If you could add the full story it would help, what it was doing before, what it is doing now, what year you have etc, fluid level check. What type of work your able to do.

LC Amazon 4.2 diesel 2002, originally abs light came on dash and sounded like bird in a cage, it was due MOT so took to my local garage and they asked about sorting out ABS and so i said carry on, the old motor was knackered as i spent £20 for a rewinder to take a look at it, so i decided to go with genuine pump and acc, just slightly disheartened when the garage rings you up and says still the same. i asked what was wrong and they have told me code c1252 and after 10 minutes of running the light comes on, don't know where ar what to do next, i have spent nearly every day at the garage as i have known them for years and we have gone through all the procedures and GOOGLE lol ???

Do the checks mentioned above, time the pump run time, make sure the system is bleed properly, what procedure did they use to bleed the system? Check the level like mentioned above.

Don't now how or what system they used to bleed, is there a procedure for bleeding brakes, whats procedure for pump run time ??, i will be back down the garage tomorrow. as you are in UK would it be possible to have your number so i can call you when i am there lol ??

If you use the search function you will find plenty of information on this site on how to bleed the brakes. Just time how long the pump runs to build the pressure. Where did you buy the genuine parts as I didn’t think toyota UK sold them separately.

So, with the fluid level on line with the marker, I give it about 10-15 pumps, my pedal goes really low and in continuous pumps it goes all the way down to the floor. The fluid level goes up past the marker. When I start the engine, the booster starts ticking and everything goes back to normal.

C1252 is related to pump run time to long, you have a pressure switch and a control circuit with relays to test. I would make sure you have bleed the system properly and time the pump run time before you get into the diagnostics. If the garage doesn’t specialise in diagnostics then you could take it to Toyota to bleed it with techstream and to do a diagnostics check. You have fixed the bird noise, so the work carried out was probably required, just you have another issue.

Awesome, could it be in need of just a good proper brake fluid flush/bleed ???

Sounds like a Master Cylinder issue, mine goes low but not to the floor, or you have a leak.

I hope not, no leaks. I did read a column about the Master Cylinder test on Mud forum and I thought I passed all that was listed. Unless, you know a test I could do?
Is it normal with the engine off and you pump the pedal, the pedal pressure would go down? I have never done this before with my LC until this happened.

The leak can be internal, in the accumalator or the abs unit. Have you looked to see if any fluid is present at the master cylinder, pop your head under the dashboard and check, you might have to pull a cover back.

It is normal to lose the pressure and the pedal to drop, but it doesn’t go to the floor, you just get non assisted brakes. So the brakes should work, just the pedal does go lower.
