I use this anti rattle hitch device and it is solid as a tank. I’m in the process of getting a couple more, one for our other cruiser and a couple as spares. If you think this could be a possible solution for you I’m more than happy to send you one to try out.

Let me see what they end up costing each and maybe we try a group buy with them if there is enough interest.That looks perfect but they don’t ship to the US. I think something like that just might work. I’m thinking adding something like this might be enough to keep it in place.

That or find a mud member who can fab a bunch up. I feel icky even suggesting it but it’s not a complex piece and a laser, EDM, or water jet machine could make quick work of it. The bent threaded wire would be the harder part to fab, I think.
