Correction!! Internet has come up coincidentally with info that Steve McQueen did his own riding but apparently did not do the one stunt we all thought - the famous fence jump. Ah well, still cool after all these years!

It was stuntman Bud Ekins that did the jump - same guy that drove the Mustang for the Bullitt car chase. Doesn't get much more iconic than that!

I just grabbed these off the Tundra forum. They are a pissy bunch like Land Cruiser guys too when you mess and prank a guys truck! Apparently it originated from some stupid TikTok Widdle Wadder aimed at Overlanders. Just proof you can never be too sensitive! lol.
