I'm looking to get my 100 set up to flat tow so I can go play in Moab and other places. I have an ARB bumper and skids, so the base plate for OEM rigs won't work for me. Does anyone have experience with modifying an ARB bumper to take clevis connectors like these? Something like these: Steel Rugged Ridge Clevis - https://nsarvproducts.com/products/rugged-ridge-clevis-steel maybe?

I recently got a Super C class RV and been doing a lot of reading on how to make it work with my Valley Tech front bumper. Based on what I’ve seen a few guys in this thread do I’m gonna try it from the shackle mounts on the front of my bumper. They’re 1/2” welded to the bumper and it’s bolted to the frame with 4 bolts each rail so that seems solid enough for me. I’m planning to go from Tn to cruisers on the Rockies next month. I’ll report back with how it goes.
