Any coolant loss while operating? I've had very small leakage from pipe clamps that require some tightening, so I try to inspect them along the whole plumbing system every couple thousand km. I've heard also that the vane on the waterpump can become loose too, leading to inefficient coolant flow.
No coolant loss or anything…
I think it is all working as it should be. I am looking into a slightly larger diameter fan though (mine has a few cracks etc in it).
 
Gday all! After a few years since the last reply (looks like over 4!!!), I thought I would give a bit of an update…
So, since the engine rebuild the engine has now done nearly 180000km… (3000 km short of 800000km on the odometer now!!)
The engine uses no oil or coolant, and I am happy with the coolant temp sitting on 105 degrees Celsius all day - towing in hot weather… normal driving it sits on 79 - 85 (cooler weather, not towing)…
I am now thinking of 200hp and 600nm… just because I can’t help myself, and live within Driving distance to GTurbo… will post updates of if I do anything silly!!

Gday mate, from memory it is a Command brand - with the stalk. It is fantastic and I use it every day - and all day when towing on long trips. Have had it a few years now… I did have to move the stalk from where it was installed as it interfered with getting the key in and out (u don’t think the installer gave much thought to its location…
