pump cavitation indicates air entering prior to compression, make sure all lines are tight and in good condition (not hard) on their way into the pump. they may not leak fluid but can leak air, check connections at pump (line and orings) , and reservoir. and on a side note, i would avoid any mechanic that tells you the "air ride" needs replacement as PM
