The cooler/fridge setup and the awning look great! Glad to see you are making memories with the kids with the truck.

Noticed your post about the AHC fluid...wish I would have thought (or been suggested at the shop) to swap it out to improve the ride. :$

Also noticed the thing about the cruise control...not sure I ever had that issue...I'm really not a fan of cruise controls and almost never use them on most any car I drive.

Oh, and stop scratching up my truck! ;)

The $76 homebrew awning proved that we definitely need one and at $200 shipped from amazon the CFO cleared the ARB purchase.

It showed up in 2 days but open on one end and missing all the hardware... Install took about an hour using 4" zinc L brackets from home depot. I used one on each crossbar and it's super solid.

The homebrew worked great, but took a solid twenty minutes to deploy. The ARB is up in three.

I figured the 15 year old rear coils were causing my AHC off light but it's still on. As much as I love comfort mode I think I'm going to have to spring for the OME heavies and Radflos...

Had to disconnect the rear sway bar and shocks to get the coils swapped, took about an hour.

I found the OEM coils for less than $200 shipped from lexusparts.com I guess it was good practice for the OME coils.

You may have mentioned this but what size awning did you get?

Nice rig, congrats !

It's a shame to sell the 40. They make a nice pair. ;)

Great job with the pics (I hate going through build threads with few pics and multiple pages to) and the build so far!

Suggestion? Brace those Home Depot zinc "L" brackets you used on the awning with a flat piece of steel strap or weld in a triangulated brace.

When I owned the truck we were out on OBX and I was taking down my CampingLab awning...big gust of wind out of nowhere...awning became a parachute and instantly turned my Home Depot "L" brackets into "V" shaped brackets.
