Doing a manual conversion. Can someone id the reverse wire in the auto trans harness for me?
Thanks

Pic is of the wires from the gear selector switch

It's the RED/BLACK wire.

Yup, Red/black (reverse loop) and Yellow (+12V) completes the reverse circuit. Connect those to the H150 reverse switch. I did this on my H151F but I think the H150 has a different reverse selector?

I did my 97 LC a while back with h55f , but forgot which one but what I did was use a feet of wire and ground to the body and a 12volt test light connected to positive terminal and test all that wire that control the shifting , it will illuminate the dash either P R N or which ever wire you test . and do not turn on the ignition.

hey @gnarlynick2072, digging up an old thread here, but hoping you can help me with ID'ing my wires.

I have the yellow wire and confirmed that it's receiving 12V with the ignition on. I don't however have the red/black wire. Any ideas what it could be?
I tried measuring continuity on the connectors (body side harness) to find any that had had continuity on the yellow (2 from memory did), but when trying to jump yellow to the other pins that those connectors had continuity on, the reverse lights didn't come on (ignition on). Weird, unless I'm understanding this wrong.

Worst case I will try both of the 2 connectors that have continuity on yellow (connect each to the gearbox), until one of them turns on the lights :D
