Holding on to it - Thanks for the interest.
Selling my 97 LX450.
I'm the second owner. Bought it about 4 years ago in Texas with 115k miles. Carfax was clean and showed one prior owner and had been in Texas it's whole life. Partial service history through Carfax and Lexus showed regular maintenance.
Drove it to Montana and put it into use as a daily driver.
It now has 152k miles. Has been Mud (over) maintained since I've had it.
Details on the truck then maintenance I've done.
Silver
Loaded like all LX's are.
Original stereo and CD changer - works fine, few lights out.
Running boards removed - OEM Lexus mudflaps added.
Sunroof works properly, tilt and slide.
3rd row seat included.
No Lockers - added center diff switch.
Power seat functions work properly.
Leather in good shape, no tears, some cracking on driver
Underside is clean, everything comes apart nice and easy.
Roof rack and spoiler pulled. No rust on roof, minor rust under spoiler on hatch, touched up. Stainless bolts added.
Few hail dents on the roof from a storm last summer. I think it's had some paint work on the passenger side. Color match is excellent. Carfax is clean so IDK.
Maintenance:
-Tune up when I bought it - plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor, dist o-ring, valve cover gasket, all fluids, belts and idlers, intake tube.
-Oil changes every 4-5k with Mobil 1 syn and Toyota filter.
-Has had 3 diff and t.case fluid changes since I've owned it.
-Service history shows regular trans drain and fills. I did one when I bought it and 1 last summer.
-Silicone PHH and heater hose.
-OME stock height springs, Bilstein shocks, new tie road ends all around, OME steering stabilizer.
-New pads and rotors front and rear. This was done at LC specialty in Austin, TX - I green lighted them to rebuild the front axle, they said it didn't need it.
-New pads and rotors and rebuilt calipers front and rear. Done at my shop in Montana. Calipers had stuck and warped new rotors... Green light again given to shop for front axle, was advised it didn't need it.
-New A/C compressor, drier and expansion block - blows cold.
-New radiator (koyo), modded blue fan clutch (land tank), water pump, thermostat and all radiator hoses (all of them), new heater valve.
-New belts again.
-Oil pump seal and front crank seal while the rad was out.
-PCV valve, gasket, and hose.
-Goodyear Duratracs - set of 4 last summer 285/75/16, spare is original.
-Second set of factory rims with Cooper studded snows 265/75/16 - got these the first winter I had the truck, still in excellent condition.
-New front speakers - Pioneers in stock location, door panels not cut.
-New antenna mast
-New driver sunvisor ($$$)
-Yakima rack included.
Located in Whitefish, MT
Title in hand.
