Holding on to it - Thanks for the interest.

Selling my 97 LX450.

I'm the second owner. Bought it about 4 years ago in Texas with 115k miles. Carfax was clean and showed one prior owner and had been in Texas it's whole life. Partial service history through Carfax and Lexus showed regular maintenance.

Drove it to Montana and put it into use as a daily driver.
It now has 152k miles. Has been Mud (over) maintained since I've had it.

Details on the truck then maintenance I've done.

Silver
Loaded like all LX's are.
Original stereo and CD changer - works fine, few lights out.
Running boards removed - OEM Lexus mudflaps added.
Sunroof works properly, tilt and slide.
3rd row seat included.
No Lockers - added center diff switch.
Power seat functions work properly.
Leather in good shape, no tears, some cracking on driver
Underside is clean, everything comes apart nice and easy.
Roof rack and spoiler pulled. No rust on roof, minor rust under spoiler on hatch, touched up. Stainless bolts added.
Few hail dents on the roof from a storm last summer. I think it's had some paint work on the passenger side. Color match is excellent. Carfax is clean so IDK.

Maintenance:

-Tune up when I bought it - plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor, dist o-ring, valve cover gasket, all fluids, belts and idlers, intake tube.
-Oil changes every 4-5k with Mobil 1 syn and Toyota filter.
-Has had 3 diff and t.case fluid changes since I've owned it.
-Service history shows regular trans drain and fills. I did one when I bought it and 1 last summer.
-Silicone PHH and heater hose.
-OME stock height springs, Bilstein shocks, new tie road ends all around, OME steering stabilizer.
-New pads and rotors front and rear. This was done at LC specialty in Austin, TX - I green lighted them to rebuild the front axle, they said it didn't need it.
-New pads and rotors and rebuilt calipers front and rear. Done at my shop in Montana. Calipers had stuck and warped new rotors... Green light again given to shop for front axle, was advised it didn't need it.
-New A/C compressor, drier and expansion block - blows cold.
-New radiator (koyo), modded blue fan clutch (land tank), water pump, thermostat and all radiator hoses (all of them), new heater valve.
-New belts again.
-Oil pump seal and front crank seal while the rad was out.
-PCV valve, gasket, and hose.
-Goodyear Duratracs - set of 4 last summer 285/75/16, spare is original.
-Second set of factory rims with Cooper studded snows 265/75/16 - got these the first winter I had the truck, still in excellent condition.
-New front speakers - Pioneers in stock location, door panels not cut.
-New antenna mast
-New driver sunvisor ($$$)
-Yakima rack included.

Very nice! GLWTS:cheers:

I am looking for a good LC for my 80 year old mom who lives 18 miles from highway (2 miles of gumbo from county road) north of Pompey's Pillar, MT on my brother's 50,000 acre ranch. Price seems reasonable but I need to know if there is any potential problems. Very interested. Call 406-671-5022. I have a 87 FJ60 and the last two miles will give my rig a workout when it gets wet. (we don't have to go lookin' for mud)

Thanks

Went through the receipt file. Some additional things done before I owned it at Lexus dealer:

101k - replace pass seat gear housing assy
100k - replace starter
90k service
ATF flush
Throttle body service
Front brake repair
4 wheel alignment

153k miles now.

Just back from Seattle. 2 couples plus one kid and stuff for 5 days.
Best tank saw 14.2 mpg worst was 12.9.
Truck was fantastic in the snow on the passes as it always is. It is a great road trip rig. Comfortable for 5, load up the CD changer and eat up the miles.

Oil level hasn't moved off the full line at 4k miles on this oil change. No drips anywhere.

Thanks.

In my experience it takes time to sell vehicles up here in the boonies.

I did have one low ball offer.... The price is OBO but I'm not giving it away.

Sweet! I'll be right over to pick it up!

Price drop to $8750.

I promised a few additional pics. Put the Goodyears back on over the weekend and will get some pics this week.

Returned some PM's.

Additional pics still pending. It was either raining, snowing or the wife had the truck at work.

We'll see what this week brings.
