Hey guys I was Capable of talking a gent down to $800 on his 94 4 runner that has 130,000 miles. It has a fuel leak that must be pretty bad because he said I'll have to tow it home. Anyways, I thought for $800 4x4 and with the great condition it is in outside of the fuel leak, it might be worth buying. What do you guys think? Its automatic. I don't really know much about 4 runners.

There's just no way we can answer that. I'd have to be standing in front of the thing to tell you if it's worth it or not.

since the fuel leak is obviously pretty severe, i would bet it wont run right now?

if not, there would be no way to determine what kind of shape the motor is in. let alone how it drives.

if that is the only problem, $800 is a steal. but you might get into a bag of worms once you fix the fuel leak long enough to drive it any distance

You could always do a compression test to at least give you some idea of the engine's overall health but at $800 if it is in as good of condition as you say it is I say go for it. I sold my 95 with a shot transmission, 2 dead cylinders, a bad trans mount, no shocks, fubar'd cv axles and the front diff just laying in the back for $750...

Yup, 800 is what I'd pay for a bad headgasket 4Runner with a decent body... FYI, the fuel pressure damper on the rear of the pass side fuel rail is a common fuel leak spot on these... It's a bit of a pain to change out, but not as bad as doing headgaskets....
