Is that a bumper... or is your truck just happy to see us?

*I think looking at the cutout in the hood we're to assume that the drivetrains been lifted and all that?

Sorry to make an @55 out of u and me though KLF. :hillbilly:

I can't tell what he's intending here either. I'm wondering if it's had a 3.4 swapped in? I know there can be hood clearance issues with that, maybe that's how he fixed it instead of the usual body lift.

Nice looking truck, but it's too pretty and too high to be a real wheeler. Looks like all show to me, but I may be wrong (hope I am). Big hoops on the front bumper are usually used on SWB rigs to keep them from pitching over forward, looks kinda silly on a truck with such a long WB.

You'd figure the O/P would have chimed back in by now and either clarified or called us a bunch of jerks for our replies??

little more work today ....
started the rear fenders , with removing the splash shields

also got the tail lamps and fuel filler out and T/Gate off .

and after a while , got the sides off . Funny thing is , the hidden rust I found !! .. sides were in excellent shape , except for a couple of dents , and scratches , but basically NO rust .. untill I pulled the panel off .. anyway .. there off now .

*I kind-a had the suspicion those were Corey's panels.. :D
You should be happy when it's done, Corey does good work.

*If you were to skip using a scoop..FWIW a local guy here had his hood cut out including the "diamond" center area within the supports, then grafted another hood on top of it. It still looks clean and original with just a 1" lift showing at the back of the hood at the cowl area. If Corey wanted, he could make a form for something similar to make a little $ on that part also.
yippie ... all done , well except the hood scoop !! and paint , but this will give you an idea .

Looks great, are you doing anything different with the paint or same as what you had?
