1992 FJ80 for sale - engine has a thrown rod - otherwise mechanically sound. Interior is near perfect with a few minor blems. Paint in fair condition with some spots showing age.

Recently installed new windshield, alternator and JUST put on new 31x10.5x15 BFG AT's on the stock wheels. Truck was purchased from PO with Ramsey winch with brush guard, Smittybuilt side rails in place of the stock running boards, an aluminum roof rack and Rancho 9000 shocks all around. It also has the tow package and third row seats.

Selling in as is condition for $2000 firm - $1500 if you don't want the BFG's (I can always run them on my 40). Truck is located in Lake Arrowhead. Let me know if you have any questions, or want me to shoot more pics of anything...

I asked a guy in another thread how much he paid to get his FJ40 from Utah to Alabama and here's his response - you may want to check them out:

$700. from door to door. Yours should be alot cheaper. I googled car transporters and one you fill in the info and the companies email you with prices. ... this one Automobile Transport Quote Auto Shipping Quote

Man I am not believing there are so many stipulations on a $2k FJ80. Exterior and interior look clean, just a engine swap and it's a solid driver.

Viggen - Selling for $2000 with the brand new 31" BFG AT's or $1500 without. Mechanically, the truck operated flawlessly until the engine went.....tranny and t-case worked just fine.

SUUEEET - I'd really like to see you get this rig.....I'll PM you with some ideas......

green73 - You're right, an engine swap would make this a great solid driver. As explained in this thread, though, I don't have the time or resources to do it and (even if I did), I'd sell it to upgrade to a newer Land Cruiser to better suit our needs. I wouldn't get my money back out of the rig if I swapped the engine and then sold it......

hate to see this go under the knife......maybe SOR, was there bout a month ago he had a converted '91 FJ diesal he was driving around in...trade out parts for your other cruiser or cash maybe, just a thought
