'92 FJ80 - Clean rig, bad engine...for sale in So Cal

1992 FJ80 for sale - engine has a thrown rod - otherwise mechanically sound. Interior is near perfect with a few minor blems. Paint in fair condition with some spots showing age.

Recently installed new windshield, alternator and JUST put on new 31x10.5x15 BFG AT's on the stock wheels. Truck was purchased from PO with Ramsey winch with brush guard, Smittybuilt side rails in place of the stock running boards, an aluminum roof rack and Rancho 9000 shocks all around. It also has the tow package and third row seats.

Selling in as is condition for $2000 firm - $1500 if you don't want the BFG's (I can always run them on my 40). Truck is located in Lake Arrowhead. Let me know if you have any questions, or want me to shoot more pics of anything...

Okay guys, Mike has me thinking with his request for a part from my 80 series......if no one has bought it by the end of May, I'll take her to parts. So, anyone interested in this VERY clean '92 before the wrenches come out? $2000 with the new BFG's....$1500 without.....
 
Hard to believe no one has picked this up yet. Can't be that hard to find a short block for it.... Hell, I'll have one once I get accessories and bits swapped over to the 2FE.....

True, I've seen it ;) His would be exactly what's needed with some spare parts to boot, and he's a stand up guy to buy from.
 
My long-term goal is to buy a '95 or newer Cruiser so the :princess: has the ABS brakes and airbags that she wants, so I just don't see the point of spending the time and $ to repair a truck (even though it's a very nice rig) that still won't suit our needs. Doing the engine swap won't increase the value of the rig enough to make it worthwhile for me.

If someone wants to coordinate with D'Animal to buy his engine and drop it in this truck, they'll have a great rig for well under $3K.......

lispeej - not yet, but if the truck hasn't sold by month's end I will.....stay tuned. Actually, you have the same color, same year truck. If you need ANYTHING for your rig, mine probably has it. Might want to start looking around to see what you might be able to use either now or in the near future......just saying :)

SUUEET - How cheap is cheap? If you're serious and want to start looking for prices to ship, PM me and we can talk about it. I might have a couple leads.....
