I'm sorry, I totally forgot to give you an answer to your question. The phone holder opens 4" wide max. Thats wider than any phone on the market but i dont know about tablets. The soft foam sides would allow a slightly larger phone. Maybe up to 4.2" max width.Would that be strong enough to hang my Galaxy tablet from?
There is one minor non visable change I plan to make tomorrow and will then go into production on these on Monday. I will have a batch ready to go by next weekend. I'm still trying to figure out cost right now. It's going to be somewhere between $27-$30.Alright, when can we order these!?
I'm sure we can figure something out to work for you. Once you see the product on my website then shoot me a PM.My phone uses wireless charging, but my wireless charger uses the same ball lock mechanism as yours. Any chance you'll be selling the mount without the head?
Alright @bhicks now i see what you've done here. I went to check to see if the mount was on the sight yet and ended up add console and rear cupholders to my order awaiting the dash mount.![]()
It's a really weird part. Every single one I test fit was a little tiny bit different. Since the entire back side is curved the 3D printers tend to warp the edges and corners a little bit. Some fit perfectly flush while others were curled up a little bit at the top or occasionally at the bottom. Technically I could have just tightened the screws down and snugged it up a little better but I didnt in anyway want to crack his dash. It wasn't my vehicle. I put zero force on the screws. I simply screwed them in until they seated flush into the counter sunk holes and then stopped. I am certain I could have gone much tighter with the screws. How's the fitment along the bottom edge? Looks like there's a bit of a gap there in your pics where the mount contour doesn't quite match the dash.

I will look into making a ram ball so the ram system can mount to it. I first need the time to create this. I will have some free time in the summer. I also need to look into the weight of ram mounted items and make sure that location can handle the weight with just screws and adhesive. For now and for the next few months, this will be the only phone mount option.Great use of space. Wondering if it's possible to make a mount that would accept ram accessories. I'm sure weight would be an issue but if the end user was to add a support to the backside .
Sorry it that has been asked already
