I have a cherry little 89 pickup. It's a 4x4 single cab. What is the best and most inexpensive way to get it 5" higher in the air? So far I've been looking at Toytecs 2" balljoint spacer, maybe some blocks or shackles for the rear and a 3" body lift. But now I'm thinking if o do that, i will probably need shocks anyway... Any ideas? Good lift kits?

Is that best and most inexpensive (one answer) or best or most inexpensive (two answers).

:D

Why 5"?
What do you want a mall crawler or a wheeling rig (rocks, MUD, or FS roads)
What tires do you want to run?

GO from there and then decide what you want/need. You can run alot of tire if your willing to trim. I say BJ spacers, torsion crank and BL if your just going to mildly wheel and mall crawl it.

I want to run a 33" tire comfortably. That's why I say 5". Anything bigger, I would have to gear and I dint have the dough for that. Plus it will still be my every day driver. I'm a big camper and always like to 4wheel to the good spots.

Five inches of lift for 33s? What are on it now? Stock is what - 31s? No way do you need five inches of lift for 33s.

I have 4 inch lift and I run 35 and the only thing I had to trim was the front valnce if u can afford gears that would be the best my truck has 5.29 and it gets 26 mpg and will top out at 100 and it will pull a small camper and another truck its size

Go with the ball joint spacer lift and maybe....MAYBE a 1" body lift. Not sure if you can buy a 1" bl though...you may have to make it yourself. It will clear 33's with without it.

What's the deal with uploading photos from my phone? Every photo I try to upload... It says I exceed the quota limit?
