We have decided to sell our 89 fj62. Trying figure out a fair selling price. It has the typical rust in the fenders and quarters. The shock mount rusted out which is common. I will hopefully have that fixed before I sell it. Interior is in great shape with no rips. It has an OME 2 inch lift. Mileage is 150k and runs like a top. Transfer case is rebuilt and I put a new torque conver un from roadrunner when I swapped in a used trans. I was thinking around 12k but i coukd be way off

Instead of asking what's it worth how about putting an asking price on it and moving this to classifieds. This is the tech forum.

I'm trying figure out a fair price before I post an ad. Is there a more appropriate place to ask about pricing than the technical forum?

I don't think you're way off at 12K. The roof rust is concerning, but the pix don't show much. You should get photos of the c-channels inside the rear frame, and many photos of that area.

I would sure steel-wool (0000 grade) the steel wheels and replace the taillight lenses before selling. Vacuum it out and clean the glass. It looks weary/tired as it sits.
