86 2L-T Hilux Surf

I am in need of assistance tracking down parts for my 86 Turbo Diesel Hilux,
To start ,
Need water pump and Timing belt, w/gaskets
Replacement fuel filter,

I've reached out to suppliers and other forums, without any luck, I'm in the states on the east coast.

Toyodiy.com to find part numbers, toyotapartsdeal.com or cruiser outfitters when it’s time to buy.

Be wary with toyodiy.com for finding part numbers. They are missing a lot of the updated/replacement Toyota part numbers. Megazip has the updated part numbers in their drawings though. Doesn't mean you have to order from them; it's still good to support local if you can (like cruiser outfitters).

The thing I do really like about toyodiy.com is their reverse search ability. Allows you to figure out what other vehicles your part is shared with. I've found lots of great info, like my 1990 LJ78 rear brake rotors are the same part number as FJ Cruiser and 4th gen 4 Runner. Makes it easier to get stuff locally.

I just bought a timing belt/fuel filter for a 2L last year from our local parts supplier. Water pump?

Toyota should be able to get it. If they say they can't, just bring your truck in for a water pump replacement. They have to be able to repair your truck. I have threatened them in similar ways to get the parts I need.
