For Sale 85 bj-42

hello fellas, im new here and probebly wont be staying long. i have decided to sell my rig after MANY yeras of enjoyment. it is near rust free, but been outside in winters 2 years now. i dont want the environment undoing my hard work. it has power steering, power assist brakes, and a 5 speed. runs very well, but the transfer case was getting sticky shifting from high to low range. 187,xxx od. looking for offers, MAY?? look at particial trade offers on a quad, thx for your time.

there is no filler in this rig, and i am not a body man i wouldnt know how much they used. i paid a shop to do the repairs. i do know there are no patches, panels came off in sheets. back sides were totally shot, and fenders had some work as well. this is about 8 years ago, and its seen some cold winters since then. this rig has seen some deep woods and rugged terrain when i hunted, its was a working truck i never babied it, and it never let me down. thanks for your interest.

I never had any issue with it, and never had anything happen to make me suspect problems with it. I travelled down the highway at 70kmh and it drives straight and true. Do you have one with a bad frame? I seen many 40 series junkers, an All seemed to be solid as Junkers.

still looking for more interest, is there no one looking to have one of these in the stable. if money is the issue shoot me a partial trade offer, i may bite. i dont do kajiji because i'd rather this go to someone who can appreciate it as much as i did. for those of you who got pics, if there is more you want to see just pm me. ill even do up a vid to thumb drive of what ever your wanting to see. thanks for your time gents.

Mr hanson, you sure know your cruisers, i got some frame pics today. there is flacky metal on the back like you said, but it is still strong. there is no issue anywhere else on the rig. ill send the pics i took to the add. and thanks for bringing my attention to this problem. i do believe this is an easy fix. sry for the last blurry pic.

the bondo you inquired about, Mr Hanson.
this is a seam crack i think you may ahve seen, this is where the new metal and old metal were joined. i think the shop should have glued them instead of trying to weld them. last pic is when i showed up some chevys with 44's in the mud.
