90MPH smoothes things out pretty nicely.

You forgot to add "while your wife/girlfriend is screaming at you to slow down!"

Hey Loud,

A while back you drove a friends Ford Raptor and you said you liked the way it drove. You even said it had better manners than a loaded LC. Was it a mostly stock Raptor or was it loaded? If it had bumpers, sliders, winch, cab, fridge, drawers, etc 1100 lbs of gear would it ride as nice?

That was a vehicle I got for a week to do a review.

Bone stock fully optioned except moonroof Ford media fleet car, loaded with 1600# of filming and photog gear, camping supplies, and people to drive and shoot it.

In the desert there is rarely a tree to winch from. I bought a pul-pal for that reason. I never want to have to dig a hole to to bury a spare tire. Lucky you had a tree! probably the only one within a hundred yards.

Ha! I had a pull spike, a sledge hammer and a shovel, plus 2 flat tires to bury as "deadmen". Beneath about 2" of dirt was nothing but rocks... :frown: That was plan A. Plan B was a tree. Plan C was a series of straps and cables to the tree surrounded by catclaw discovered in the darkness by the light of my headlamp... You can see my spike on the ground by the trailer in one of the pics (black metal spike). Don't always count on terrain friendly for a pull-pal either...

very true, you can count on it being a pain in the #$% though.
