Guess it's time for me to throw mine up here. I bought this rig from another forum member a few months ago. He built it out pretty nice but I've been busy adding to it. I owned a '98 4Runner prior to this and always wanted an 80 series LC. Finally pulled the trigger and joined the club.

1. 1996 FZJ80
2. Leon
3. Hugs (daughters named it that because the original license plate had "HUG" in it)
4. 253k
5. Mods: A few. I think I'm going to start a thread to cover what's been done up to this point and keep a history as I do others.
6. Off road mostly. It's not my DD but I do find excuses to drive it around sometimes.

The '91 behind mine in the pics is my neighbors. His is totally stock.

6. Weekend wheeling with friends and two daughters (and occasionally my recalcitrant wife will come along), cross-contienent move from CA to Rhode Island this summer, during which we will steer clear of all interstates, and seek out some off-road trails. Plan to keep her for the future and as kids are less and less interested, turn her into a two person long-haul overlander. Having lots of fun!View attachment 885708

6. Some of you might have known my old truck, a 2001 Tacoma on 37's straight axles, supercharged. Plate said TacoXL. It came to be just too extreme and lost some of it's streetable daily drive quality. Then I rolled it! it's was one sad day for me. So I sold that and picked myself up this guy. It's been wheeled but it's bone stock. I'm new to fj80's so ill be readying ih8mud for a while. Plan to not go so extreme with it but rather camp out of it. It
s got the lockers and maybe a small lift and I don't see having any problems on the trails I frequent and look forward to finding new ones.
