Currently running 4.88's in my locked 3rd's.

Looking to return back to stock gears in the future.

You give me your locked 3rd's with stock gears (plus a littl $$) and i give you these.

Gears were setup around Christmas of last year.

I suppose you aren't interested in 4.56s?

What year? Miles? Condition? Pics? How much $? Factory e-lockers?

I have a '94 with 4.10s. I may be interested. Who makes the gears?

Put me next in line. Stock locked 3rd's here and willing to pay good $$$ for properly setup 4.88's.

Brandon, I'd be willing to swap with you. Would be relatively easy compared to shippnig them and waiting for someone elses too.

I could probably come up with some cash, or trade you fabwork for the difference.

BTW, did you get ahold of my brother?

Wow,

This thing got lit up.

PM's have been replied. To answer some of the general questions:

The gears were installed during christmas of '07 using the frankies offroad full kit. I believe the rears were yukon and the fronts were something else, not sure. they are factory e-lockers and work fine.

I, in no way, shape, or form and looking forward to having to pull these and install stock gears again but the 80 is undergoing a few things in the future that require stock gears again to be highway friendly with 35's.

As far as cash. If memory serves me correct, all said and done i paid almost 1500 for parts and labor. Unfortunately i dont expect to recoupe even half of that, not even a year down the road.

Make me an offer, realizing that these will be bolt in and require nothing!

Lastly, im not in a giant rush to swap them out. The 80 is still my DD but that should change soon. Availabilty is probably a month or so

I'd definately consider it.

For those who are serious. Perhaps shoot me a PM and let me know how many miles are on your locked 3rd's and make me a $$$ offer.

s*** this is getting too complicated Brandon.

You name the price and what type of mileage you are looking for.

I'll give you $200+shipping of both sets of 3rds.

I have 188K miles on mine with no issues.

Selling you 4.56's?

If I could get to 4.88s for a reasonable price yes. But otherwise no. I can't justify the expense to move up. What folks don't tell you is that it isn't just spending $450-500 on a set of gears. Putting in new bearings and gaskets. And I had to do new shims in the rear. And then labor for the gear set up. For the do it your selfer it is easy to be in it $1000 by the time you are done. For those paying for a complete axle rebuild at the same time it gets real expensive. I was fortunate as I traded the drivetrain guy some 40 parts he really wanted for the labor on the diff set up, and I did the rest myself. But it was still expensive.
