Can you guys read my previous post regarding replacing the 12SMD map light with the 48SMD dome light! The 48 smd dome will fit in the map light housing!

I ordered up about four kits of lights for the 80 series landcruiser owners who contacted me regarding being the guinea pigs on the group buy list! They will get their lights, install them, then they will hopefully post pictures and share install secrets(if there is any). At that point I will order everyone elses kits, once everyone is happy with other people's reactions! I WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS HAPPY

Good news! I was able to get better pricing on the 48SMD LED panels! Ordered them up to make sure the quality is just as awesome if not better! Ignore the $5 mentioned in the poll for now

I will look at my neighbors odyssey tmrw! I think it is an 09! Should be similar haha I have had a bunch of inquiries about rx330's as well...

The best part about people requesting kits is that I can save what types of bulbs work where and have it ready for the future!


Steve, that looks awesome! Atleast we know that the picture from my hundy is a camera trick! I will give you your whole kit by next week or the week after(sorry I have final exams and semester projects) so you can review it!

This is a 100% ripoff of what I started in the 100 section. Even the way the post is written. Pretty low LJ...pretty low.

I was prepping an 80 kit once I got enouglh positive feedback from from the 100 kit that is now shipping.

You have the right to sell whatever you want but I would have hoped you could have come up with something on your own.

For all you 80 guys who don't know what is going on, check out LED Madness thread in the 100 Section. Also, check out the dates.

Also, 6 bulbs for $40 plus shipping??? The 100 kit is $60 plus shipping FOR 16 BULBS...DO THE MATH

There's multiple vendors and members who sell the exact same springs for about the same price. If someone does the same things with LEDs, I don't see a problem per se. Sounds like pricing is different on these anyway.
I'm interested in long term feed back before I purchase any...

Edit: this thread should have some pics and details about the lights, and then a link to a thread in the merchandise section with group buy/pricing/vendor info. (You don't have to be a paying vendor to post a thread in the merchandise section)

True, but I am just about to start an LLC(in hopes of starting one) and I don't want to start off with any problems or issues! Once I am a mud vendor, I will setup a website with ready to ship inventory at all times! I have agreed to stay out of the 100 and 80 series forums for "group buys"

I saw it lol I am still going to be selling the dome lights because they are different from pfran's product! In addition, I will send pfran some so he can add them to his kits as "upgrades" from regular to SMD dome lights! This will all get worked out!

I forwarded the group buy list to pfran42, he was my inspiration for the LED group buy but I did not know he would also do the 80 series crowd a favor and put together a kit! He has kits ready to go! Contact him! Luckily, I did not collect money from anybody so you guys on the list are still on a list! I have inventory as well but under these new circumstances I will be selling them for the 120 series, 4runner and taco crowd because I already have those kits put together! I have the 80 and 100 series kits also, but I guess I'll have to wait til I become a mud vendor to do those! I did not want my sole proprietorship to start off with conflict! For those that got samples from me, I will gladly supply you with the rest of your kit

i live in australia and i have some dodgy repco led interior lighting in my 80 and i was wondering what your asking and can you send them to apo? oh and do you know if you will be doing lighting for the dash i would like my dash to be red or some other color than the greeny yellow color. lol.

i was wondering if you can do the taco / dash lights in the 80 series i was after red ones to replace the standard green. aswell do you know of anybody that does modernise 80 series tail lights and head lights i was after tail lights with leds in them kinda like the newer cruisers have. i have seen front projector lights but am unsure of the quality. any help would be much apreciated. oh and whos the guy that does the interior lights for the 80s

Playinwithsand really sorry dude! Ignored this thread for a long time due to the conflict, but it is back on since I am a mud vendor now, anyone else with questions regarding this kit, post them here but pricing questions pm to me because this is a tech thread!

Price is $25 for dual dome kit
$38 for dual dome and map light kit
$45 for dual dome, map light and door led's

To add a dome light panel since 80 owners add a third dome panel, it will be an additional 9.50 and an additional $4.50 for license plate lights
