Just don't forget and attempt to close the hood, I have seen a bunch of hoods bent this way. A used prop rod will seem cheap when pricing a new hood!

All of the Toyota prop rods that I have tried, would work fine with a couple of simple bends. Pick & pull shopping would be easy.

My 80 inherited the one from my defunct 60 and works just fine!

Fed the parts numbers to my local dealer, and with TLCA discount, it is around $20+Tax...arriving next day. Looking forward to not having a Guillotine for a hood anymore.
