I'd recheck that "low coolant light.". I'm pretty sure what you're seeing is a low engine oil light. My 80s don't have low coolant lights, only temp gauges (albeit crappy ones). Im pretty sure yours is the same.despite the murray fuel cap i installed, my toyota landcruiser seems to have developed an issue. i noticed a few days ago that the low coolant light would come on after about 5 minutes of driving. it stays on for a couple minutes, then it goes out. then it doesnt come back on again until after i have turned off and re-started the toyota landcruiser. after about 5 minutes of driving it comes on again, etc.
since this is a low coolant light........
