I do, and I thought about not using them but well, they went on anyway. That will likely be the best solution, but next time I got to unbolt the panhard, I had Erin standing on a 2x4 to leverage the DS down far enogh to get the coil in.... Nothing attached but the 4 links and PH, and the rear still wanted no part of dropping.

Need to do some measuring to see what I gained out back before I get too crazy.

Measurements as it sat straight off the jack-stands are:

PS F. 22"
PS R. 23"
DS F. 22"
DS R. 22.5"

Need to bounce it around on the farm with a couple hundred pounds in the back to seat the spacers and springs and then pull it up on the slab and remeasure and then go from there.

I think it looks good in that shot.

Just for the info...in my experimentation, I found that the mediums give about the same lift as those springs with a 1" spacer, and give a firmer ride.

Then the mediums won't net any gain as that's exactly how it sits now. And I tend to agree, the more I look at it the more I like it as well. If the rear will settle in and give about a half inch of rake, then I think I will call it good.

If it bothers me too much I will put the heavies from the 91 under it and see where that gets me.

Anyone in CLC want a complete FJ80 minus the frame and axles? I'm helping my buddy Matthew part one out that was the donor for his project at White Rhino fab in Canton. It's getting posted on the classifieds on mud now so if you want it holla at me soon with an offer.

Did a few 20 mph runs around the back of the farm yesterday afternoon and decided to find out how much dirt was actually under the tall grass. Looks like more weeds than dirt, but it was enough to stretch things out a little.

I need to cut the grass off and do it again so I can see how the front looks stuffed but the rear stretched out nicely.

Still need to find a DS replacement flare, but so far it's coming along.

@euclid Is the fuel door on that donor 80 body still intact? Also, what "did" the seats look like before it was demo'd? I'd like the fuel door if it is, shipped to 37221 just let me know.

thanks

Well I finally got the 80 running today. Well I didn't, one of my maintenance guys at work that's pretty handy With wire harnesses got tasked with figuring out the starter issue while I was gone. By pulling the alarm and grounding out the relay it now starts. Glad to never have to worry about that dang alarm ever again.
