I'll have to take a new pic of the engine bay. Here's an old pic of it when the top and doors are on. I usually put it on every winter.
Everything looks solid. Wish I could do it sooner!!!

Here's some pics I just took. I didn't clean it up or anything so it's looking kinda cruddy. That header is brand new. The paint that came on it lasted for about 10 seconds so I painted it with BBQ paint and it turned red for some reason. A little power washing and some paint on the accessories and it'll look a lot nicer.
damn - I feel the necessity to bump this just because its a sweet rig.

Update on the tranny... I put in the 'new' SM420 and it sucks. The knock is still there, but I figured out it was coming from the worn u-joints on the rear driveshaft. I also installed a new throwout bearing as the old one was starting to make noise.
I'm gonna try to fix the leak in the old tranny and reinstall it. Then replace the u-joints. That'll just leave a worn 4th gear synchro, but otherwise it works fine. Plus you'll have a good rebuildable 420 included.
