Safelite Auto has replacment windshield for the 78's available in 2 days for around $390. Shop is in Wooddale.

Thanks for checking that out for me. $390 + installation is spendy for my trail truck. I might have to go with Lexan for that.

Yeah that is the same price for all 55's. The Windshield, according to my supplier, is for all years. 150 with installation is a great deal. I would totally jump on that!

My OEM windshield survived the trip from Guatemala and is currently awaiting the end of winter before I get it installed into the FJ55. I don't want a rock chip in an OEM windshield!

I have a spare from a rolled cruiser up in Redding, CA a few years back. It sits in my garage waiting. My wiindsheld in my 55 is cracked in a perfect half ciricle around the rear view mirror. I need to get the nerve up to get it replaced soon.
