I've got two complete sets I'm thinking of selling.

1. In my rig, about 90k miles, working original h42/4-speed t-case. I'd say the t-case is ready for an overhaul, and there's the standard small amount of oil coming from somewhere. I changed the t-case oil the other day and what came out was surprisingly pretty, and metal free. Trans and transfer only.

2. In my garage, low-mileage (PO said 22k) '78 h42 and matching original 4-speed t-case. Stored indoors for >20 years. You can tell by how it shifts that it is in new condition. This one has all brackets, linkages, shifters and the e-brake parts including the cable. No shifter knobs though.

If you're doing an original restoration on a nice '75 - '80 land cruiser, this is exactly what you need.

I want $250 and $500 for the two sets, respectively, OBO.

Located in Morgan Hill, but I could drive my 40 to San Jo' for a test drive of #1 if you're seriously interested.

Probably no shipping, but we'll see how easy you can make it for me. I could deliver between Salinas and Santa Rosa for the price of diesel.

Starting to hit my radar screen!;)

Huh? How you gonna get there with both trannies in the back of the truck?

I'm more interested in the lo-mile one that comes with the shifters.;)

That's what I was talking about. You want the older one too? I'm a little surprised you'd be interested. I'll call later.
