Post a pic of the black wheels you have. They might be the right OEM wheels for your 40 and will easily fit most 31x10.50 tires. The OEM wheels are still available from Toyota and come in a satin black finish. You can read through this thread and see the discussion on trying to match the OEM grey with powder coat.

I'd start by pulling out all that carpet, both front and rear. @Racer65 sells reman OEM-look floormats for both front and rear. Pick up a new OEM shift knob while you're at it. I think he also sells the OEM emblems to replace those knock offs you've got there. Land Cruiser 40 and 55 Series - https://www.cityracerllc.com/collections/land-cruiser-40-and-55-series

Pull off the wing nuts on that air cleaner cover and take a few pics of the carb so we can see what you've got there.

The horseless carriage ride is a feature, not a bug. :flipoff2:

X2 on 31's with no lift, I like stock rims with hubcaps
electric power steering is a good option especially if staying with 33" tires and under

there is really no way of knowing what the actual mileage is as the odometer is 5 digits and then starts again at zero as it rolls over
just looking at all the work that was done to the rig, seems the stated 21k may not be accurate
X3 on the 31s (bfg k02). Recommended to me when I bought my 40 and have not had any regrets. Not oversized, not undersized

Seems US spec, the color does not look OE but looks sprayed very well.

Looks amazingly immaculate but something seems odd/off.

Congrats. Have you driven it?
Do you know the provenance prior to your ownership?
something about the pocket shift inst plate doesn't look right, and the badging above the fender doesn't either--but the rig looks very nice and clean--the color is close--What matters is how it drives--and stops!--ha
