Who did the driveshafts??

I had big struggles with the driveshaft shop that I used. We'd talk on the phone, exchange emails, and what would arrive was something completely different. I can't count the number of times I went out there, crawled under the truck, took digital pictures, made measurements, etc. I ended up having to send both shafts back at least once.

In other words, not recommending them? ;)

nice build. You can put Fort Mill as your location, people know where that is. :) Keep up the good work, looks like we might have another potential club member!

Unfortunately, I don't own a cruiser yet. I'm hoping to change that in the near future, but I'm still driving that other brand.

Wow!! What an amazing piece of work!

I love the color. Is there any way to match that green color? That is the green I am looking to repaint mine.

The color was PPG BRG (British Racing Green). There were actually two colors by that name, so we chose the one that corresponded to the older model years.

The cage and front bezel are at the powder coaters as we speak. Both are getting done in a silver color, as Drew suggested. Pictures to follow in the coming days.

Thanks for the vote of confidence too!

I've updated my other thread to reflect the half door fitment problems and possible resolution, but also wanted to list it here.

[snip]

I wanted to update all threads to reflect my conversations with Paul. Many on the list advised that I write him to discuss the fitment problems. I was also assured that he would to all he could to resolve any issues with his product.

I can report that this is exactly the case. We've exchanged over 30 emails with pictures, measurements, and ideas. As it stands now, Paul has promised to send me a replacement set of doors in an attempt to resolve the problems.

Jim

Got the cage, bezel, hood brackets, and fuel filler guard back from powder coating. Well, it's not white, but I like it.:grinpimp:

Very nice, Jim! Mind if I stop by later this week and snap a couple of pics for reference? And, perhaps, pick your brain about metal fab?

Who did your powder coating? I've been looking for a good powder coater in the Carolinas.

Drake coatings in Monroe, NC. Tom is a great guy.

Blast and coat the cage, bezel, hood catches and fuel filler neck guard for $150. All parts were coated with silver, then recoated with clear.

Is that a buddy price or is that what it would cost for a walk in customer?

Looks good Jim...the silver cage and bezel ties in well with the wheels and the rest of the silver on the truck. For the grille mesh, I also had mine blasted and powder coated back to satin black.
