Great post. I have a bone stock 82 w only 43K miles. Runs like new but always wondered if I should desmog but they are only original once and I have no issues.

Great post. I have a bone stock 82 w only 43K miles. Runs like new but always wondered if I should desmog but they are only original once and I have no issues.

I had an 82 that ran perfect the 11 years I owned even with all the vacuum crap. I was always cautious about desmogging it and never would since it ran fine.
My 77/78 project has nothing left of the vacuum system so desmog is the only way to go.
