75 series Springs into a pig - Shock suggestions?

Hi All,

I'm about to start putting 75 series 2" lifted springs into my FJ55 and i'm wanting to try and find out what shocks people used when doing this conversion. I've found a lot of info on the springs but not on the shocks.

Help is much appreciated.

I have used Doetsch Tech on my 40 when I lifted it and liked them.

Chris keeps taunting me with these sweet rear shocks he has for me, but he won't give me measurements...

Thanks for the replies. Stumpofj40 what model bilsteins did you use? Or what var where they made for as i want to know what particular shocks, not just brand that have been used and fit well

Had he exact same setup on the rear of my last 55 but with 2" extended shackles. Both that setup and the one in my current 55 work great, they're a solid shock and make for a slightly firmer ride (easier to use a garage jack to install them)
Am in the process of putting the exact shock but in a 10" in the front.

it might seem like a silly question, but why 10" in the front and 12" in the rear?

I took the 12" from my previous 55 before I sold it and I measured up the fronts and decided that a 10" would be fine
