Well Drivetrain and rear fuel tank are going to need some additional space. Ordered a 2” body lift kit for an old CJ. Had to remove the cross member as well. Rusty piece of metal is a temporary brace so the frame doesn’t jump. Cross member will get welded back in shortly.

Impressive that this is the first car you've done body work on. I dig it! Right up the road in Temecula too. Did you decide on what you're doing with the old engine?

Thank you kind sir. I sold it off. Made enough to cover all the advance adapter pieces too.
 
Bought some shackle hangers from ruffstuff to replace mine that have seized bushings and bolts. Ruffstuff ones will probably outlive the truck. Brother in law also picked up a complete 78’ front axle with disc brakes for me.
