I had to cut a chunk out of the new valve cover, it wouldn't clear the AC pump. I used a stop sign that came from the base to make the piece. I get to take a piece of 29 palms with me

Got the valve covers mounted and test fitted the AC pump. Looks awful after everything was cleaned up. Ordered a new one.

Well Drivetrain and rear fuel tank are going to need some additional space. Ordered a 2” body lift kit for an old CJ. Had to remove the cross member as well. Rusty piece of metal is a temporary brace so the frame doesn’t jump. Cross member will get welded back in shortly.

Bought some shackle hangers from ruffstuff to replace mine that have seized bushings and bolts. Ruffstuff ones will probably outlive the truck. Brother in law also picked up a complete 78’ front axle with disc brakes for me.

Someday i was told I would grow up. Well since that day never came I present a progression of growth in height. Just about right...Shackle hangers get her Tuesday. Shocks will get added then as well.
