I have three Landcruisers, 75 FJ40, 87 FJ60 and 94 FZJ80, and need to sell one. I have had the 60 for twenty years, and just can't let her go. The 80 is locked and gets down the road, so the 40 it is.
There is a little rust on the body, but none on the frame. A PO painted it tan and it doesn't look great, but I didn't care. It was originally Mustard Yellow. The 2F engine is great though a PO put headers on it so it runs cold when first started. It has a new Aisin carb, new toyota master cylinder (which was only on the 75 FJ40 through 9/75), new exhaust and muffler, new 12,000lb winch and new Ironman suspension with a 2" lift and greasable shackles.
When I got it it had some seats out of a car, so I found original seats and had new internals, foam and cover put on them. There are no jump seats, so I took and bolted a waterproof military box that locks to carry gear securely. I had Miles from Bozeman go through everything. He packed the wheels, put new wheel cylinders where needed tuned it up. I don't know the mileage because only the tenths on the odometer works. Finally, it comes with a bra top, Besttop softtop, and a hardtop that needs going over but is otherwise in good shape.
The pictures show new Toyo 33" MTs on new steel wheels. I am keeping them for the 60. It comes with black steel wheels with Toyo 31" ATs. I will get some pics of them later. Also, I have other pictures, so if you are interested let me know and I will email them to you.
