75/79 cabs

Do doors from A 79 series fit into a 75 series? I know the fenders are different.

Depends on the truck. I believe they will fit a troopy with the rounded upper door,but not the fold down windshield trucks with the hard corner door.

Rounded Edge (75 troopy/79)

Sharp Edge (75 Ute, I also think 70/73/74 with the folding windshield are the same)

I built a small triangular filler piece for one of my BJ74s which allowed me to use the rounded doors (ie fixed w.s.) with a fold down windshield.

It worked fine and wasn't too obvious.

I have one of each. Plan on cutting out the curve and welding in the triangle from old door.
