Its a 1:1 ratio so whatever you want. If its made for an 80... if can be added. This is 4" as shown.

188 holes spot welds (inner and outer --376 if you want to count it that way..) later............ Ready for bodywork now. I'd like to kick the previous owner in the nuts....

Custom Diamond axles, 4.88 locked diffs and other pieces arrived today. We should start making some progress now..

I chose the 430hp engine. Without a slush box to "lose" a little power/torque, I figure this will be adequate to spin my 35-37" tires. I had plenty of power in my last FJ40, and it had a old rebuilt/balanced 350, so I figure this will be more than enough

Just heard the rest of my axle parts will arrive tomorrow - thank you Front Range Offroad.

I believe it's ready to get back into Trail Tailors queue/work schedule now that we have everything for steering, suspension, engine/tranny/tcase. This will seem boring after all the coil conversions he's been doing!

I got my Fj 60 axles from Jason last year , my off frame is done, now time to assemble, I am just about ready to order I have a '72 so non-erod, I thought the 490-500 was alittle much, Thank you for your feedback, rob

@TRAIL TAILOR is at it again...tub is removed and my FJ40 is officially stripped to a bare frame. Next week the SOA/SR begins. Going to be fun to watch it go back together

Back on this one with all the parts here now and to where we can work on it again.

Saginaw box install. Getting the front SR setup and crossmember welded out. Will have the frame painted this weekend and start stuffing the LS back in it.

LS3, NV4500, and Atlas are installed. Not certain, but I *think* the SOA will be next.

Yes I'll be setting up the axles and springs over the next week or so as time allows.

Almost caught up in the fab shop.
