Ward,
Those panels look great. I ahve the HDPE panel sitting in my garage waiting for some time to router them out. Great idea wit hthe compression latches and speaker holes as well.

Side note what kind of seats are those up front?

So were they fastened with riv nuts?
I would love these but in some thicker aluminum...
How were the backs of the doors like the catches attached for the cam latches.

Thanks!

I am sure you will like the results.

Those seats are from a BMW coupe. They are manual, not electric adjustment, and flip forward for rear passenger access. Vinyl covered, comfy as hell with good support. Very nice for 10 hours in the car.

I will take the Charles/Dufus defense and refer your question to the Torfab crew so as not to misinform the readers :)

Fastened with riv-nuts, we can make them in aluminum but why? The HDP is the perfect material. the catches are screwed into the backs of the doors. We have some finishing touches to make to the panels for a standard BJ74/73 install, then we can sell them to the public.

Hey Tor,

Would you mind making a kit with just the barn door panels ? Id like to get a set for the 75. Also what size riv-nuts do you use. Ive already got some peices cut for the troopies side panels, id like to match the hardware.

Until i can come see you of course and have some custom panles made :-) Or I could send you the origionals as templates???

@torfab let me finish hemorrhaging $$$ on a house project and I'll be all over a set of these for my 74

Just bought a 73 on Wednesday and may have a need for these as well. I'm still assessing the overall condition.

800 miles later I love my set :)

Very nice! I could see a set of these in my '77, if a run of them was ever done :)

Suggestion for owners of 75, 76, 77 and 78 Series owners....just do what I did - show up at Torfab with your truck and three large pizzas. Tor is a reasonable guy! :)

@torfab @wardharris How difficult would it be to send you the troopys panels and have them be templates for these?
