Was looking at repairing the drivers door hinge rebuild and noticed that the bottom hinge where it mounts do the door seems to rusted threw and breaking away. As I am new to this pig life and help would be greatly appreciated. .

You'll have to clean up the rust and weld the cracks, then if you want weld in a plate, to spread the load and add some metal.

I did all my doors, as it seems they all crack with time.

From the guys that know what they're talking about, no it shouldn't. You should have enough adjustment in the hinge mount holes, but that is one reason I did both hinge pads, so it stays even.

You wouldn't happen to have the measurement ments, was getting another member to make some bottom front fender replacments. He said he could make door pieces also if I had measurements?

No Sir, I do not. I made each one as I went. There are a lot of curves and angles. You could just made the plates to fit the flat area and not worry about all the extra area I did, if that makes any sense.

Best of Luck,

Ron
