new pics

Here is a pic of what we have available.

We are about to start building 2 of these for customers, one on a stretched FJ60 frame, and one on a stretched FJ80 frame.

They will fit extended cab tacoma frames without stretching. Price is $7000 for the complete shell. Please email info@proffittscruisers.com with questions.

We are putting one 79 series body on a stretched 60 series frame and one on a stretched 80 frame.

The 80 series frame will use the 80 series axles and a 1HZ/5 speed drive train. Coils all around.

The 60 series frame will use the 60 series axles and most likely see a 6.0L Vortec and 4L80E with a 60 series split transfer case.

Both trucks will be mildly built with 35's, lockers, winches, tube work, etc.

Hi, Looking for two parts to get my PZJ77 cosmetically a bit more perfect:

  1. Window switch on driver's side for rear left window - I need the top plastic part which moves/goes up and down, the two small plastic prongs have been broken off, hence window doesn't go up and down.l checked switch and motor, all work. So JUST the top plastic piece perhaps from a broken switch? Moved similar part from another window switch to the driver side and works great now but need a replacement part. Can anyone help?

  2. need the plastic centre piece for a manual trani centre console cover. These piece that goes around the stick shift/transfer case. Also need leather/vinyl boot for gear shift to cover current rubber gearshift boot. I have the large surrounding plastic piece (grey) from an automatic trani that has the extra switch blanks and trani/cup holders thanks to John at Radd Cruisers.

Any help in locating these is much appreciated. Email me at alsenj at gmail dot com.

sounds cool but doing both these converisons

i see a bit on ozi cruiser 4x4 sites people asking how hard it is to put there 75 series on a 80 series chassis to get the coils, i guess this will be a top link mate

I always knew someone over there would end up doing this;) But I think it was the guy in east africa somewhere that was the 1st on MUD

looking good john. How much for that ankle bitting blue heeler? I think Heather would love to have one of these in the driveway!!!

Buy a truck and you can have the heeler. JP may say something different though.

Get rid of that Troopy project and go with something more modern.....like a 79. You know you want one...you know you do.....don't fight it.

sounds like a couple of fun projects john

Yep, we are pretty excited about them. They should turn out pretty cool. Do you still have your 70? Want to turn it into a pickup?!

Hope you feel better now!

no.. :meh:i don't really mind but at least tweak it or flip the image in some way. improve on it, be original :grinpimp:

still have the 70 john, If i'm going to turn it into a pickup i want it on an 80 frame too :grinpimp: I don't use the 70 much anymore with kids. The pickup would be almost as impractical. what i need is an hzj 77 auto like canuckmariner

I hear you on the 77 or something with 4 doors. 2 doors with kids is not much fun. What I really want is a 105.
