For Sale Soon

I'm sad to post that I'm selling this pig due to financial need. The A440F in the FJ62 seized after a week in Moab and I'm putting in an H55F to keep my beloved 62 alive and better than ever.

I also buying a house so cash is more than tight. I'll be posting it For Sale soon, just trying to get up the courage to actually commit in print.

Really bums me out, it's such a cool piggie and so close to being trail ready.

:frown:

Damn that sucks amigo.Congrats on getting a house tho.I know I'd have a hard time parting with one of my rigs especially the 40 (my first cruiser). At least you'll still have the 60 and,who knows, maybe another 55 will pop up in the future for you.

Enjoy your new home.

And now this Piggie belongs to me. :) As soon as I get some garage space and time I will start posting up what is next for this coooool piggie.

Had some "fun" yesterday. Thanks to Chris we were able to use his son in law's body shop to work on the truck. Heat and air tools, yay! We were swapping out the 4.88 gears he had sold to someone else, and putting 4.11 gears back in. Only took 10 hours. And now I have a major leak in the rear diff thanks to a buggered stud, a front driveshaft that somehow sucked back in and would NOT separate even with a chain attached and my considerable wait tugging on it, so it is wired to the frame until I can get it off. Oh and when I took the hubs off I managed to break off 5 of the 6 by probably using an air ratchet the wrong way. All in all a pretty frustrating 10 hours...but at least I was wrenching.

Hard to say since there are no dash lights so driving home I had no idea how fast I was going...but definitely seemed to have more low end power. I didn't drive itmuch with 4.88's so not a whole lot to compare to...

All in all a pretty frustrating 10 hours.

All in all a pretty productive 10 hours. You and Randy have new gears and lockers! Quite a lot got done, you should know by now that there will always be glitches. You've got a couple hours ahead to pull the boogered diff bolt, pull and lube the front DS and adjust the rear brakes. Then you'll be in good shape. Ige has a wiring chart that may be better than the colored one I gave you to figure out the dash lights. ;)

Toss on the new carb and you should have a sweet running machine!

Chris, I don't know if I thanked your son in law and the owner there enough, but THANKS!!!!! They will get my business in the future for sure! Guys, not only did he open gis shop on a Saturday for us (and some others) but he bought us PIZZA and helped us clean up, WAY too cool...

I was under the pig when the 66 Mustang drag racer fired up (no muffler of course) and I just about ended up giving myself a concussion!!!
