now if it were red...that would be a GTO!..had a 67 when i was in high school...loved that car...totaled one night while driving it like i stole it....i am not gonna let jake open this thread!

Zane, I have no idea what happened to my paragraph I had at the top of the first post.
This GTO is not mine, I was just part of the process. This is a buddy's. It was a two year project. Everything is either new or repro. Engine alone was $6K. I sold my 73 Cuda 340/6 pack a year ago, and still regret it. Once I get my 40 3FE done, I will be back to a muscle car rebuild.
But I will gladly still talk cars over a beer. My chances are dwindling on making it to Disney. I will be the one rolling in way late Friday night, if I do make it.

He went back and forth on colors. He had a 66 in high school and that is why he decided to get another. He probably won't drive this one like he stole it. Jake needs a muscle car....put a slant 6 in till he is about 30 years old, then build a V8 for it.
